The Charlotte Motor Speedway has set the standard for motorsports entertainment for more than 50 years, earning its title of “The Greatest Place to See the Race” among motorsports fans. Earlier this year, we looked at how Klein-equipped professionals Gear Up for Race Nights under the Lights to maintain and improve the 2,200-acre superspeedway.

From 1880 to 1917, the use of electric light strands evolved from a highly mistrusted idea into a Christmas novelty. After taking years to grow in popularity, nobody would predict the elaborate displays of lights and extravagant decorations we see today.

The most wonderful time of the year is here – spending time with friends and family, enjoying favorite recipes, giving and receiving the perfect gifts, admiring all kinds of holiday decorations and playing out in the snow. The exciting hustle and bustle of the holidays can be chaotic around the house, increasing the likelihood of avoidable accidents and injuries.

We spent a lot of time this year talking with electricians that Power America’s Passion. While highlighting Klein-equipped professionals’ impressive work, we found that tradespeople on the job refer to our Side-Cutting Pliers by a variety of names, including side-cutters and, of course, Kleins. But one question frequently came up in our team’s roadside conversations:

Apprentices worldwide are preparing to join the skilled workforce, meeting the growing demands from diverse employers across many industries. To recognize their remarkable productivity, industriousness and innovative thinking, Nov. 13-19, 2017 is being celebrated as National Apprenticeship Week. For the third year in a row, the United States Department of Labor is using this week as a means for leaders in business, labor, education and other critical areas to showcase their communities, including special programs, facilities, accomplished apprentices and more.

The Commemorative Air Force (CAF) Dixie Wing, made up of over 200 volunteers, works tirelessly year-round to revive and preserve military aviation history by devoting countless hours to restoring historical aircraft to flying condition. Tradespeople with a variety of skills and a common passion share their pride in the heritage of the aircraft with community members and history buffs nationwide, in recognition of the many sacrifices America’s servicemen and women have made for their country.

The forest, which is intensified by imaginative lighting and various entertainers, radiates with passion from both attendees and tradespeople alike.

From falls over 100 feet to extremely adverse weather – including hurricanes – we’ve noticed that professionals tend to inadvertently test the durability of their tools and devices. Recently, a few of our customers have admitted to conducting these unofficial durability tests with the Wireless Jobsite Speaker.
